The renovation of an existing 836 m2 space to become Ottawa’s first Food Hall located within the Sun Life Financial Centre at 50 O’Connor Street. RECL was the Construction Manager for this project, under contract with the Owner, BentallGreenOak. With a base building expansion and seven simultaneous unique food vendor fit-ups, this fast-paced construction project allowed Queen Street Fare to launch successfully in December 2018.

Work included a new energy efficient and eco-friendly electric boiler plant, a 93 m2 sunroom addition, high end quality licensed food equipment in each kitchen, unique finishes at each restaurant, common area seating and associated dishwashing room, luxurious washrooms, and an entertainment stage.
