This project consisted of a major 783m2 roof top addition and various interior alterations, to the University of Ottawa’s Health Sciences Building – Roger Guindon Hall. Careful planning of the sequence of construction allowed for uninterrupted use of the facility, and was designed to allow for further additions both vertically and horizontally. The fourth floor roof top addition was fit-up for academic offices and student support spaces. The remaining addition was fit-up to accommodate audiology, physiotherapy, speech and nursing laboratories, and numerous classrooms. The extensive renovation in other areas covered teaching, dissection and computer laboratories together with numerous classrooms.
