RECL was the construction manager for the interior finishing phase of this new condominium project. This phase began in October 2010. The Continental is a stunning Art Deco masterpiece rising along the southern bank of the Ottawa River. The 15 floors offer unimpeded vistas across the Ottawa River to the Gatineau Hills on the west, east, and north facing sides. The designers have looked to every detail from classic art deco fixtures to a hotel style lobby to the soaring penthouse crenellation. For the residents’ convenience, there is a large entertainment space with a full bar set-up, side-screen HDTV and rich club furnishing. As well, residents can dine or entertain on the roof terrace which is fully equipped with outdoor furniture, elegant shade umbrellas and gas barbecues. The Continental exercise centre is equipped with the latest in stationary training equipment.
